AEW President Tony Khan finally disclosed when the anticipated TV deal between All Elite Wrestling and Warner Brothers Discovery will be announced. WBD potentially renewing the deal with the Jacksonville-based promotion has been a topic of discussion lately.
Since the inception of All Elite Wrestling back in 2019, Warner Bros. Discovery has had the television rights to the promotion. However, it was said that the deal would be up in 2024 since the start of this year. Moreover, fans believed that the TV rights deal between AEW and WBD would be renewed soon.
After months of speculations, Tony Khan seemingly confirmed the new deal. During the AEW All Out 2024 post-show media scrum, Khan was asked about the negotiations and he said that the announcement regarding the new deal would 90% be made next month.
For the past five years, TNT and TBS have been the home of AEW's weekly shows such as Dynamite, Rampage, and Collision. After Tony Khan's potential announcement about the new TV deal next month, the shows are expected to stay on the same channels in the United States of America. Only time will tell when the actual official announcement will be made.
