Tony Khan’s vision for AEW in 2025 after Rampage makes an exit 

An era is about to come to an end in AEW with the apparent conclusion of the promotion's Friday-night program, Rampage. However, Tony Khan & Co. are seemingly forging ahead, and an interesting announcement was recently made regarding their upcoming weekly broadcasts.

All Elite Wrestling is set to present special editions of Dynamite and Collision—dubbed Maximum Carnage—at The Andrew J Brady Music Center on January 15 and 16, with the latter show scheduled to be taped on the 16th, presumably ahead of its Saturday-night airing. The official X/Twitter profile of the venue shared a poster promoting the upcoming events sometime earlier, featuring multiple top stars and champions, including Cincinnati's own Jon Moxley, Mariah May, Mercedes Mone, and more.

The title of the aforementioned special corresponds to one among multiple trademark filings made by AEW earlier this month. Notably, the announcement of Maximum Carnage follows on the heels of the promotion taping the final episode of Rampage "for the foreseeable future" at the Hammerstein Ballroom this past weekend.

All Elite Wrestling will step into the new year with another special event, Fight for the Fallen, set to air from Asheville, NC, on January 1.

As mentioned above, AEW filmed this week's episode of Rampage on December 22 in New York City. The show featured a number of top names in action, including Chris Jericho, Thunder Rosa, HOOK, and World Tag Team Champions Private Party.

The episode seemingly ended on an explosive note after The Death Riders called out the All Elite locker room to step up to them. This sparked a massive brawl, pitting Jon Moxley and his army against Top Flight, Orange Cassidy, Willow Nightingale, Hangman Page, Jay White, and many others.

It remains to be seen what Tony Khan and his creative team have planned for the company's programming next year.
