Tony Khan has seemingly confirmed AEW's imminent deal with WBD. He also made a massive claim in the process.

Ever since its inception in 2019, AEW has come a long way. The promotion has seen tremendous growth in its roster and has been able to hire some of the biggest names in the business. Tony Khan certainly has ambitious plans for his product in the coming years, with one of his visions being to host more international shows just like AEW All In last month.

Despite the growth, the company has struggled with ticket sales for its weekly shows. Even viewerships have only decreased from its initial years. In fact, AEW recorded its lowest numbers recently. Considering these poor showings, many of the company's critics felt that AEW might fail to renew its deal with WBD. This all seemed possible until now.

During the media call for AEW All Out, Tony Khan seemingly confirmed a new deal that was imminent with WBD by saying that his company would become the "second most profitable wrestling company of all time" when the deal with Warner Bros. Discovery goes through. Based on his comments, it does appear as if the deal is nearing its final stages.

Tony Khan announced that AEW won't be responsible for All Out match

Swerve Strickland's feud with Hangman Page has grown more personal with each passing day. Both men just want to get their hands on each other. Therefore to settle this feud, they will face each other in an Unsanctioned Lights Out Steel Cage Match at AEW All Out.

Given the severity of the match, Tony Khan took to social media to announce that his promotion will not take any responsibility for what happens during the match on Saturday.

"Lights Out Steel Cage Match Hangman Page vs. @swerveconfident AEW can't be held responsible for what happens in Chicago at All Out when Hangman Page fights Swerve Strickland in an unsanctioned Lights Out Steel Cage Match this Saturday," Khan wrote.

It remains to be seen if this match will mark the end of this extremely personal feud that has developed between the two stars, or whether they continue their rivalry beyond this coming weekend in Chicago.
