Tony Khan was recently told to fire an AEW executive and replace him with Nick Khan. The person being discussed here is Kosha Irby. He has been the chief operating officer of All Elite Wrestling since February 2024.
Low ticket sales and poor show attendance have been a major concern for AEW. Fans often bring this up on social media. Following this week's Dynamite episode, a wrestling fan on X (formerly Twitter) stated that Kosha Irby failed Tony Khan, and as a result, the company is not making much profit from ticket sales for weekly shows.
The said fan also asked the AEW head to fire the current COO and hire some like like Nick Khan who would be a great addition to the marketing team. Nick is the President of WWE.
Kosha tried to kill his hater with kindness and instead of lashing out at them, he dropped a GIF stating that he would like to become friends with his online critic. Check out his reaction tweet below.

Major star returns to Tony Khan's AEW
This week's episode of Dynamite saw the return of Daniel Garcia. After reports about the star's contract status surfaced on the internet earlier this year, the fans were unsure whether he'd stay in the company or resign. Garcia was also seemingly written off the TV in July but returned to have a match against MJF at All Out 2024.
Following the event, The Red Death disappeared from the TV once again. Rumors in the wrestling world were saying that he was moving to WWE. But Garcia finally returned to AEW on Dynamite: Title Tuesday.
During the episode, he addressed the AEW fans. He talked about his time at home and all the difficult decisions and choices he had to make. He then revealed that he is All Elite and has decided to continue his journey with Tony Khan's promotion.
