AEW star Christian Cage has had multiple stints in the WWE. There he won the World Heavyweight Championship twice and the Intercontinental Championship a staggering four times. Interestingly, according to many, Vince McMahon was not the biggest fan of the 50-year-old.

Nevertheless, Tony Khan has nothing but respect and appreciation for the former AEW TNT Champion. Recently, he responded to another tweet made by former WWE announcer Todd Grisham. Grisham revealed that McMahon instructed him to not get excited while announcing the wrestler's arrival. Even though the commentator was not too pleased to do it, he had no other choice.

"Right before I walked out of the Gorillia position before the show. Vince McMahon called me over and said “When Christian walks out..don’t get excited at all simply say‘it’s Christian’ and that’s it. Understand me?” Me:“Yes sir.” Tweeted Grisham.

Tony Khan was shocked by this revelation and reacted with a tweet of his own:

"This is insane."

Fortunately, Cage has been pushed and utilized well in All Elite Wrestling. He is currently the leader of The Patriarchy, a stable that consists of Luchasaurus (aka Killswitch), Nick Wayne, and Mother Wayne.

Christian Cage's stablemate Luchasaurus recently suffered a health scare

Cage's stablemate Luchasaurus recently collapsed in his house and was rushed to the hospital. He has double pneumonia and might suffer from permanent damage.

Veteran wrestling journalist Bryan Alvarez recently made a statement about the situation:

"Apparently, there were complications. He ends up getting this flu and bad oxygen uptake as a result of whatever else, turned into pneumonia. And apparently he’s at high risk for a relapse, is what I was told. The big concern is that after all of this, they’ve been running test after test, and apparently there may be permanent damage."

Luchasaurus is reportedly not going to return to the ring anytime soon. Nevertheless, we here at Sportskeeda pray for his good health and quick recovery.
