Tony Khan was recently called out by Vince Russo. The former WWE writer said the AEW boss has "zero credibility" due to his constant actions during interviews.

Since AEW's launch in 2019, the company has come a long way in terms of its production value and profitability. The promotion has expanded its roster by adding a diverse range of talent and has even started hosting shows outside of the US.

Despite this fast growth, the company has often come under harsh criticism for mismanagement of talent, poor booking, and lack of storytelling. This has resulted in a massive drop in viewership and ratings compared to its initial days. However, Tony has always maintained that his company is doing great despite putting up poor numbers each week and his seemingly ignorant outlook hasn't done him any good. The AEW boss has always failed to acknowledge any negative feedback and has always maintained that his company is doing great.

Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's The Wrestling Outlaws podcast, Vince Russo claimed that Tony Khan has lost all his credibility after he constantly praised his promotion despite the poor numbers. He said that fans can see the numbers online and are aware that the promotion is not doing great despite TK claiming otherwise.

Former WWE writer buries Judgment Day HERE

"There was a Tony Khan interview from last week and Chris, he must've said the word great a hundred times. You would've thought that he was talking about the WWE and I don't think what he understands is bro, we're all seeing the numbers, we're all seeing the attendance. You keep talking like this all you're doing is losing credibility. I mean by him saying, 'We're great! We're great! We're great!' Does he think he's going to convince people that they're great? You're just losing credibility. I mean it's like EC3, 'Hey, this is my first five years in this game. I've made some mistakes. I'm learning. We're making the changes.' But bro he sits [and says], 'This is great! That was great! This is great! That was great!' I'm like, 'Bro, you have zero credibility at this point man.'" [13:46 - 14:55]

Rey Fenix alleges "inhumane treatment" in Tony Khan's promotion

It has been rumored for the past several months that The Lucha Bros. were about to leave AEW after their contract expired. While Penta El Zero Miedo's contract recently expired, Rey Fenix is still part of AEW since Tony Khan added some injury time to his contract to keep him from leaving his promotion.

Despite the disappointing news regarding his contract status, Fenix took to social media to claim that he is being subject to "inhumane treatment" in AEW.

"No one stays in a place where they received inhumane treatment," he wrote.

Check out his tweet here:

It will be interesting to see when Rey Fenix will finally be released from his AEW contract.
