AEW Dynamite: Winter Is Coming 2024 is only a few hours away. The TV special will take place at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Fans will see reigning AEW Women's World Champion Mariah May in a surprising new look.
At Full Gear 2024, The Glamour ambushed her close friend and partner, Mina Shirakawa, during her Champagne Championship Celebration. Luckily, the latter dodged and hit back with a Spear off the stage.
Later, May retaliated by attacking her former friend during a backstage interview with Renee Paquette. The now-former allies are set to face each other for the AEW Women's World Championship at Dynamite: Winter Is Coming.
Mariah recently sat down for a virtual interview with Rory on Ginger Vision House ahead of her highly anticipated title defense against Mina Shirakawa on Dynamite: Winter Is Coming on December 11, 2024. During the conversation, May disclosed that she had a new outfit planned for her upcoming title match:
Former WWE writer buries Judgment Day HERE
"Mariah May does have a glamorous budget. I am The Glamour and the World Champion, so I get whatever I want. I do have a very nice new costume for [Dynamite] Winter Is Coming. I got it just for Mina, just to make this special. You’re going to see something very special on Wednesday." [H/T Ringside News]
Mariah May will debut a new entrance at AEW Dynamite: Winter Is Coming
While speaking to Rory, Mariah May also revealed that she will introduce a new entrance during AEW Dynamite: Winter Is Coming. It will be a revamped version of the entrance she debuted at the Full Gear 2024 Pay-Per-View:
"I kind of have a new entrance that I debuted at Full Gear, which, regrettably, the moment was soured when my best friend speared me off the stage and into the table. But there is going to be a slightly new entrance. I do have a few ideas I’ve always had for fun entrances. I’ve already talked to production. Maybe we’ll see it for a special pay-per-view. You’re going to see a nice entrance for Winter Is Coming and a new costume." [H/T Ringside News]
Mariah May has been the AEW Women's World Champion since defeating Toni Storm for the title at the All In 2024 Pay-Per-View.
