Ricochet was brutally embarrassed during AEW World's End 2024. Now, an AEW star has trolled him on social media.

Ricochet had a change of attitude recently which did not sit well with the fans. This has also resulted in some awkward interactions on camera. A recent one of those interactions took place backstage with Swerve Strickland. The high flyer claimed that he was going to win the Continental Classic Tournament and Swerve told him that he would embarrassed if he didn't win.

The former WWE star went up against Kazuchika Okada in the semi-final of the tournament at AEW World's End and lost. As a result, Swerve Strickland came out and reminded the former Intercontinental Champion about their discussion from a few weeks ago while Prince Nana offered toilet paper rolls to the audience. The former AEW World Champion asked the fans to throw the toilet paper into the ring and they did so which did not please The One and Only.

Now, Swerve has continued mocking the former NXT star by comparing him to the fictional character, Carrie. Check out his tweet below:

Jim Cornette recently criticized Ricochet's promo skills

The former WWE star is known for his in-ring skills. He is one of the best in-ring performers in the world today. However, his promo game is somewhat lackluster. When he tries to cut a promo, it just doesn't land well and results in awkward segments. As a result, the high flyer has come under scrutiny from fans and critics because of his poor mic game. His interaction with fans on social media hasn't been good either.

Hence, Jim Cornette suggested on his Drive-Thru podcast that the former WWE star could get over with the fans if he didn't talk or use social media.

"I'm surprised they didn't have somebody cut Ricochet's vocal cords. He might be a bigger star if you didn't hear him spin and maybe break his fingers so he can't talk on Twitter. If Ricochet could not communicate in any way with the fans, I think he'd be a superstar."

It will be interesting to see if The One and Only will recover from the embarrassing incident at World's End.
