WWE legend Mick Foley recently sent a message to an AEW star. However, the response he got was perhaps not something he expected.
While Foley is retired, he is still known to keep up with the wrestling industry and interact with various younger talent. One of those names is MJF. While the two clearly share a bond, Maxwell is rarely seen out of character, even apart from programming appearances. As such, his response to a video message from Mick Foley dressed up as Santa was also along the same lines as him being a heel.
Taking to social media, the AEW star posted the video from Mick Foley and wrote:
"Who gave this fat b***ard my number?!?!?"

An AEW star thinks MJF is a danger to the company
While MJF has been an asset to Tony Khan's company so far, another star thinks The Salt of the Earth is a danger to the locker room.
Speaking on Going Ringside, Adam Cole stated the following when talking about his rivalry with the former World Champion. According to him, MJF was a terrible person and could cause harm to the company itself.
"He’s a terrible person. There’s a certain side to Max that a lot of people have seen and a certain side that a lot of people haven’t seen. But MJF is a massive danger not just to our locker room, but to AEW as a whole," he said. [H/T: News4Jax]
Adam Cole has a lot of history with MJF, from being best friends to being sworn enemies. The Wolf of Wrestling and The Panama City Playboy are set to battle each other at the Worlds End pay-per-view this Saturday.
It remains to be seen how their story pans out in the future in All Elite Wrestling.
