The AEW roster features several notable factions, from The Dark Order to The Don Callis Family and The Elite, among others. Wrestling stables often deal with internal strife in the storylines, but sometimes those issues are real-life. New details are being revealed on what The Blackpool Combat Club has battled.

William Regal originally managed Bryan Danielson and Jon Moxley as The Blackpool Combat Club. Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta later joined the stable before Regal left the company in late 2022. Moxley returned from hiatus in late August and turned on the current AEW World Champion, Bryan Danielson. The former Dean Ambrose has assumed leadership of the faction, which Marina Shafir and PAC have aligned with while Yuta's status is up in the air.

The Swiss Sensation has revealed internal issues that he and his fellow stablemates dealt with last year before the Death Rider returned. In his new interview with The Takedown on Sports Illustrated, Castagnoli was asked if he agrees that the current Moxley is the best version we've seen or Peak Moxley.

"Yes. I feel Jon Moxley is more Jon Moxley than you've seen him in a very long time. I feel he needed that time off to kind of reconnect with himself, and find his purpose, so to speak, or regain his purpose, because I feel like... I can just speak for myself, I can't speak for Jon, but I felt like, for the last couple months before he came back, it was... we always have the 'Be Real' on our shirts, and it wasn't... it didn't really feel real," Claudio Castagnoli said. Castagnoli continued:

"It felt like, OK... we're just kind of going through the motions, not in the moment obviously. It doesn't mean I ever take it easy, but looking back, something was missing. Something was missing, and with Jon, I can definitely tell that since he came back, he found that fire again," Claudio Castagnoli said. [From 6:57 to 7:25]

Castagnoli, PAC, and Yuta are in their first reign together as AEW World Trios Champions. They dethroned The Patriarchy in a Fatal Four-Way Ladder Match at All In. Tonight's Title Tuesday Dynamite will feature Danielson and Yuta vs. PAC and Castagnoli.

Jon Moxley to possibly extend AEW World Championship record

Jon Moxley is a record three-time AEW World Champion. The All Elite Original also held the Interim World Championship in 2022.

The former Lunatic Fringe is looking to become a four-time World Champion in All Elite Wrestling when he challenges Bryan Danielson at WrestleDream this Saturday. He won the shot by defeating Darby Allin at the Grand Slam edition of Dynamite.

Jon Moxley and Danielson have had two singles matches in AEW. Moxley won their first at Revolution 2022 and again later that year on the Grand Slam Dynamite for the vacant World Championship.

Danielson leads their series of televised matches in WWE at 3-0, with one draw. Bryan also defeated his longtime friend and foe in 2010 at Dragon Gate USA's Way of the Ronin.
