Jon Moxley returned to All Elite Wrestling a few weeks ago after a short hiatus and shockingly kicked out Bryan Danielson from the Blackpool Combat Club at All Out. Recently, a top AEW star revealed some advice he received from the former World Champion.
Big Bill (aka Big Cass) made a name for himself in WWE when he formed a tag team with Enzo Amore. However, after their tag team disbanded, his career and push in the company came to a screeching halt.
After his release from WWE in 2018, Big Bill worked on the independent scene for a couple of years before signing with AEW where he has made a notable impact. Bill formed a successful tag team with Ricky Starks and is in a faction with Chris Jericho at the moment.
Considering that he is part of the same locker room as some legends in the business, he has been able to pick their brains from time to time. During a recent interview with Barstool Rasslin', Big Bill revealed some blunt advice he received from Jon Moxley one time.
"He's [Jon Moxley] an interesting guy and he's very honest especially with me. So, I've asked him for advice before and he has said, 'Don't ever f***ing do that again. That s**ked' you know, he's just a straight shooter. So he's helped me tremendously." [From 18:58 to 19:11]
Bully Ray reacts to Jon Moxley suffocating Bryan Danielson at AEW All Out
At AEW All Out, Bryan Danielson's affiliation with the Blackpool Combat Club came to an end. After successfully defending AEW World Title against Jack Perry, the BCC showed up to prevent Christian Cage from cashing in on Danielson.
However, after a brief celebration in the ring, Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and PAC turned on Danielson. Moxley ended up choking out the AEW World Champion with a plastic bag.
Speaking on his Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray mentioned that Vince McMahon didn't like using household items as weapons. He further explained that a kid watching AEW could take a plastic bag and place around their brother's head to replicate the same spot.
"Vince [McMahon] did not want any weapons used that could be deemed regular household items. Vince didn't want a child to be able to watch Monday Night RAW or SmackDown or any WWE programming and see them use a weapon they could find in their house and go use on their little brother, their little sister, or somebody at school. So, I could see somebody who may be allowed their children to watch AEW who'd be like, 'I'm upset because my 10-year-old saw the plastic bag spot and then immediately went into the kitchen and took a plastic bag and put it over his brother's head,'" Bully Ray said. It will be interesting to see what happens this week on AEW Dynamite after the heinous act by Jon Moxley and his team.
