A top AEW star has claimed that Tony Khan doesn't care if he appears on WWE shows. The star in question is none other than Ric Flair.

The 16-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion shocked the world when he signed a multi-year deal with All Elite Wrestling late last year. Ric Flair was mainly used in several segments during the retirement storyline of Sting and even threw hands with The Young Bucks.

Many believed The Nature Boy might be gearing up to compete inside the squared circle in Tony Khan's AEW. However, there are seemingly no plans for it to happen. During a recent interview with SBNation, Flair revealed that Tony Khan has no problem with him appearing at a WWE show.

"Oh, it’s been great. I mean, it doesn’t change. They’re all very respectful of me, to the point where it’s flattering. You know, I try to stay relevant and involved in so many different things now, which is unusual for someone my age. I mean, even though I work for AEW, I can go to a WWE show and no one says anything. I’m not gonna not see my daughter [Charlotte Flair] when she’s back and healthy. I’m going to go and see her, and Tony [AEW owner Tony Khan] doesn’t care. That’s the kind of guy Tony is and what AEW is," he said. [H/T:SBNation]

Jonathan Coachman believes WWE will never let John Cena break Ric Flair's record!

WWE legend John Cena tied with Ric Flair's record of 16 World Titles at the Royal Rumble 2017 PPV event, where he successfully defeated AJ Styles. Many believe that Cena might be in line to take his title reign to 17 and break The Nature Boy's historic record.

Speaking on The Angle podcast, former RAW commentator Jonathan Coachman claimed that the company will never let The Franchise Player hold the World Title again.

"I don’t want this to come off as disrespectful because, at some point, I’m going to run into Ric Flair, and he takes this stuff very personally. I could be a 17x World Champion if they so chose to give it to me, so to me, that record means nothing. I really don’t care. If it means something to him, then I do care. I think John Cena realizes his body is beat up, and he could only look that good for so long to go out there with the wrinkles on his muscles and veins kind of popping out. Will they [WWE] give it to him? I doubt it," he said. [H/T: Ringside News]

John Cena was last seen at the RAW after WrestleMania XL earlier this year. It will be interesting to see if the veteran returns to the company for a final stint.
