A top AEW star shares a heartfelt story about Taylor Swift. He even called her his babysitter.

Jeff Jarrett is a legend in the world of professional wrestling. After spending several years wrestling for top promotions, he ended up starting TNA Wrestling. He ended up being a part of the promotion for several years before eventually moving on. Jarrett currently still wrestles for AEW and is an active member of their roster.

Considering that he used to live close by to Taylor Swift's house, it should come as no surprise that the country singer was close with Jeff Jarrett's family. During a recent exclusive interview with Bill Apter, Jarrett revealed a heartfelt story about Taylor Swift.

"Taylor went to the same high school, you know, just the same school system. I lived on Oker Lake. That time she lived on Oker Lake literally a mile from my house and she just started playing some songs and I kinda will never forget it, you know, I had a lot going on in my life at that time. Personally, wife was very sick and three kids and then on the professional side, TNA. It was the early days and really going and going and just a lot of responsibilities. So, I can't say I sat around and listened to the song but she ended up staying three or four hours and played and by the time the thing was over, I'm not kidding, there was probably 30 or 40 people in the house."

He continued:

"But that was not the first time that we were around together. That kind of in a lot of ways endeared her to the family and then she just stayed, connected with the family through Jill's passing and then, you know, after Jill's passing, you know, there were often times that she would call and say, 'hey, I want to bake cookies with the girls' or 'I want to take them over to the house' and the story goes she was my babysitter. I can truthfully say she was never on a payroll deal." [4:25 - 5:45]

AEW star Jeff Jarrett heaps praise on Will Ospreay

Will Ospreay is one of the most athletically gifted wrestlers in the world right now. His ability to deliver consistent performances every time sets him apart from his peers and has earned him widespread recognition from fans and critics.

Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's The Apter Chat with Bill Apter, AEW star Jeff Jarrett was all praise for Will Ospreay's athletic ability.

"Athletically he has no peers in the industry right now. As generational talents roll through, you know when Kurt Angle came onto the scene, his athletic ability took him a notch above everybody else. Shawn Michaels during his, you know...the athletic ability it just takes you up a notch or two. Will [Ospreay] right now doesn't have a peer in my opinion athletically. He's got an incredible amount of charisma, he's got international experience almost on another level." [3:27-4:09]

Will Ospreay is set to challenge for the AEW World Championship at Forbidden Door 2024.
