A top NJPW star has issued a major challenge to AEW's MJF. The name in question is none other than Gabe Kidd.
The current NJPW Strong Openweight Champion doesn't shy away from talking smack. He has taken shots at Randy Orton, Kenny Omega, and others in the past. The Cleaner did not waste any time in addressing Gabe Kidd as he is set to face him at the WrestleDynasty PPV on January 5th.
On X (formerly known as Twitter), Gabe Kidd issued a challenge to the former AEW World Champion for a match in his hometown. The NJPW star wants to see who's the better man after their bout.
"AND ONE LAST POINT BEFORE I DRINK 10 MORE HIGHBALLS F*CK MJF I COULD NEVER GET WHERE I GOT THROUGH RUNNING TO MY BOSS YOU A P*SSY WRESTLE ME IN LONG ISLAND AND WE’LL SEE WHO’S BETTER THAN WHO"

Gabe Kidd has taken shots at AEW star MJF before
Gabe Kidd has been one of the fastest-rising stars in Japan. He has kept AEW talent on his radar and is set to face Kenny Omega at Wrestle Dynasty. Earlier this year, The 27-year-old made a bold claim where he said that MJF could never touch him in the ring.
Speaking on the Wrestling Classic podcast, The Salt of the Earth reacted to Gabe Kidd talking smack about him and teased possibly going to Japan to confront the NJPW Strong Openweight Champion.
“I’ve never been to Japan. If I do go to Japan, it’s going to be because my boss is going to force me to do that indie show on January 5th. I think they’re calling it something Dynasty; I can’t remember the name. There was this little, you know, chubby kid—I think his name is Gabe. Is it Gabe? CDD Gabe? Kid Gabe? Gabe Kid? That’s the one, that’s the one, yeah, sorry. And, you know, he was talking smack. So, who knows, maybe that will go down at some point.”
We will have to wait and see if a match between Gabe Kidd and Maxwell Jacob Friedman happens in the near future.
