Rumors are starting to spread that a popular WWE faction may reunite in AEW. Fans on X/Twitter have now reacted to this possibility.

The Hurt Business was a popular faction consisting of Shelton Benjamin, MVP, Cedric Alexander, and Bobby Lashley. As soon as the group came together, it wreaked havoc and dominated opponents at every opportunity. The faction was also quite popular among fans, given their athletic prowess. Unfortunately, the stable was prematurely disbanded.

Since then, there have been teases of The Hurt Business reuniting, but nothing has come of it. With Shelton Benjamin no longer under a WWE contract, the possibility of the faction re-forming on WWE television is next to impossible.

Bobby Lashley's contract is reportedly set to expire soon, and the Wrestling Observer Radio's Dave Meltzer has reported that both Lashley and MVP are going to leave the Stamford-based promotion once their deals conclude. There are also rumors of the duo re-forming The Hurt Business in AEW alongside Shelton Benjamin, who is a free agent.

Ever since the abovementioned report surfaced online, fans on X/Twitter have been sharing their thoughts on the situation. While some users are open to the idea of The Hurt Business reuniting in AEW, others seemingly want Bobby Lashley to join a different promotion like TNA Wrestling.

Check out some of their reactions below.

Eric Bischoff blasts AEW after recent landmark

Last week, All Elite Wrestling held its 250th episode of Dynamite. The show's opening match, which saw MJF take on Will Ospreay, almost went on for an hour. Despite boasting a stacked card for the milestone event, the company allegedly drew less than 3,000 fans.

On his 83 Weeks podcast, Eric Bischoff blasted AEW for its poor attendance despite presenting a landmark show.

"They're down because the audience is not buying the product. Less and less people buy the product every week. What do they have, like 2800 people at their 250th landmark show, with the two biggest stars in the company, and they drew less than 3,000 people? That's not cyclical, that's just dying."

It will be interesting to see how Tony Khan will look to capture fans' attention as the company prepares to present its next pay-per-view, All In 2024.
