Triple H has brought back many stars such as Johnny Gargano, Bronson Reed, Dexter Lumis, and more since he took over as WWE's Head of Creative in 2022. According to recent reports, AEW star Malakai Black could be headed back to the Stamford-based promotion and the fans have reacted to the reports.

Malakai Black was known as Aleister Black during his time in WWE. He was one of Triple H's products and had a great career in NXT from 2017 to 2019 and is a former NXT Champion. However, he had an underwhelming run once he moved to the main roster in 2019. Aleister Black was released from the promotion in 2021 which led to his AEW signing as Malakai Black.

Ever since Triple H took over creative duties, Malakai Black's name has been brought up many times as a potential star The Game could bring back to the company. According to recent reports, Malakai is finishing up with AEW and could be on his way back to WWE.

The fans reacted to this huge report with positive comments, stating that Triple H is preparing to bring Malakai Black to the Stamford-based promotion.

Meanwhile, some other fans believe Tony Khan will add injury time to Malakai Black's deal to prevent him from signing with WWE. They further slammed Black's booking in All Elite Wrestling.

"See you in 2029 when your injury time finishes bro," a fan claimed.
"They don't expect him back because every sane person know that Tony Khan incompetent booking screwed him!!!" another fan tweeted.
"When does his contract official ends? I thought it was in October but TK just wanted to hold him hostage for no reason," a fan tweeted.

WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam would like to wrestle Malakai Black

Malakai Black is often considered an underrated performer due to not winning a lot of championships. During the entirety of his run in AEW since 2021, many have called out the promotion for not handing the ball to Malakai Black. With his reported departure from the company, the leader of The House of Black might get his flowers in WWE.

During a recent episode of his 1 Of A Kind podcast, RVD praised Malakai Black and expressed interest in working with the former NXT Champion.

“Yeah, he is [awesome]. I really like that dude’s style and his vibe. I like the way that he stands out as being different. I’m a big fan of that, so I don’t know. If I didn’t know any better, I would think RVD might have inspired him at one point. So proud of him without even knowing him. It’d be awesome to work with him.” [H/T: eWrestlingnews]

We will have to wait and see if a match between Rob Van Dam and Malakai Black happens in the future.
