A wrestling veteran recently addressed Jeff Jarrett's emotional exit from the 2024 Owen Hart Foundation Tournament on AEW Dynamite. The name in question is none other than Sonjay Dutt.
Jeff Jarrett recently shared what participating in the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament meant to him. Double J was a close friend and the tag team partner of the late Canadian star. Last night on AEW Dynamite, Jarrett faced a wild card opponent, who turned out to be the returning 'Hangman' Adam Page.
The Anxious Millennial Cowboy brutalized the WWE Hall of Famer throughout the match and handed a heartbreaking loss to the latter. Jarrett was disappointed in himself following the defeat, as he wanted to honor Owen by advancing in the tournament.
On X/Twitter, AEW producer Sonjay Dutt sent an emotional message to his friend, Jeff Jarrett. He also posted some pictures from Jarrett's entrance on Dynamite.

"Proud to call Jeff Jarrett a friend," Dutt wrote.
AEW star Jeff Jarrett discussed his recent interaction with Jerry Lawler
Jerry "The King" Lawler is one of the greatest commentators in professional wrestling. In the past few years, Lawler's health has seemingly declined due to a stroke.
In an exclusive chat with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Bill Apter, Jeff Jarrett said he recently spoke to Jerry Lawler about their families and sports.
"Dave Brown, Billy, it was great seeing him, talking to him, you know, but at the game, we're right beside each other, and the guy who kinda hushed me and said 'Hey, just to let you know Jerry Lawler is right next door. Not sure if you know him or not' They were being very polite but I said 'Who? The King is right next door' (...) Anyway (...)I got to go down and sit and chat with him. We caught up on all kinds of things. I don't think we talked wrestling. We talked family and sports and probably a little Cleveland in there." [6:36 - 7:56]
Jerry Lawler was recently relieved of his commentary duties in WWE. It will be interesting to see whether he will join All Elite Wrestling to reunite with his former broadcasting partner, Jim Ross.
