Chris Jericho has gotten the better of a former WWE United States Champion in a gruesome match they had during the latest edition of Dynamite. This would be Samoa Joe.

A few days ago, The Samoan Submission Machine dropped a challenge for Jericho, which ended up becoming a Stampede Street Fight. This came to be after last week, and The Learning Tree went after Joe, HOOK, and Katsuyori Shibata. To make matters worse, they also blindsided the former FTW Champion while he was being tended to in the infirmary.
Samoa Joe wanted retribution after HOOK was attacked, and he had a chance tonight to get his hands on Chris Jericho. However, this match ended up being much closer than expected, with Jericho even getting an assist from his "branches."

Despite the former NXT Champion getting the best of the numbers advantage at first, he would eventually fall to this when the match spilled backstage. Big Bill hit him with a chokeslam on a forklift. Chris Jericho began operating it and drove Samoa Joe into a wall.

All the medical staff and backstage personnel crowded to the scene right away to check on Joe before calling off the match and awarding Jericho the victory.
