Hangman Page has returned to AEW and is out for revenge. After moving one step closer to a major main event match, the fan-favorite was caught by backstage cameras while firing off a heated rant. Page did not hold back, and made it clear he was out to avenge what his family had gone through.

Page returned to AEW at the Beach Break Dynamite special, and entered The Owen Hart Foundation Tournament as the Wild Card entrant. He defeated Jeff Jarrett, and will now face Bryan Danielson in the final on Dynamite. The winner will go on to AEW All In to challenge for the World Championship, currently held by a man with a bitter past with Hangman, Swerve Strickland.

Page earned his spot in the final by defeating Jay White on Saturday's Collision. After the match, the 32-year-old delivered a tense promo backstage and lashed out over his issues with Strickland. He also referenced how he and his family had to leave their home because of the champion and how he never paid for his actions, but would now.

"I told you. [...] Didn't I tell you? I would win this tournament if it took everything, everything in me. I would give my blood. You know I'd give my blood. I've done it a thousand times over, I will probably do it a thousand times over again. I would spill every last drop that I have to win this and to take away from him. To burn his world down. He broke into my home! He threatened my family! We had to leave our home. [...] Do you understand what that's done to me? And he never paid for it! [...] And they loved him for it. [...] I gave them every d**n thing that I had, Its been five years, [...] and they chose him," Hangman Page said. [From 0:01 to 1:05]

If he manages to win the final, All In could be the 5th singles bout between Hangman and Swerve. Strickland won the first three straight - at WrestleDream in October, on the Title Tuesday Dynamite nine days later, and then in a Texas Deathmatch the following month. They fought to a Time Limit Draw in February with a World Championship match on the line, which led to Swerve capturing the gold at Revolution in a Triple Threat that also included former champion, Samoa Joe.

Hangman Page fired shots at another top AEW star

AEW will return to Calgary, Alberta, Canada on Wednesday for a live Dynamite at the Scotiabank Saddledome. The finals of The Owen Hart Foundation Tournament will take place in Owen's hometown.

The men's tournament finals will feature Bryan Danielson vs. Hangman Page in their fourth singles match. After defeating Jay White on Collision to advance to the final, Page had harsh words for The American Dragon as well.

"Next I have Bryan Danielson. Our record is 1-1-1, Bryan. I can tell you this. On the three occasions we met, I was never driven... I'm driven by something completely different now. I was never as driven as I am right now. You can call it justice, you can call it hatred. I don't give a f**k what you call it. It's all I have left. I'm going to ruin you. I'm going to burn you alive. There will be nothing left of you. When I'm done, the biggest stage that we have, I am coming for you," Hangman Page said.
