A former independent wrestler and popular social media star was seen officially signing with AEW. An All Elite star was also announced as his first opponent after signing with Tony Khan's promotion.
The star in question is Big AJ (aka Eric Justice). He is currently popular on multiple social media platforms such as TikTok, and more, along with his son as the 'Costco Guys.' Big AJ also had a career on the independent professional wrestling scene decades ago. He wrestled his last match in 2021 for an indie promotion.
Meanwhile, Big AJ has officially signed with All Elite Wrestling. The star took to his X (fka Twitter) account to share a clip of him officially signing the AEW contract with the All Elite star, QT Marshall present as well.

In the above clip, QT Marshall can also be seen challenging Big AJ for perhaps his first match after signing with Tony Khan's promotion. It will be interesting to see how AJ revives his pro wrestling career years after his last match.
Other Major AEW signings in 2024
Prior to the beginning of the year 2024, Will Ospreay was announced as the major AEW signing. Later, the NJPW legend, Kazuchika Okada also signed with the promotion followed by Mercedes Mone (fka Sasha Banks).
Furthermore, the former WWE Superstar, Ricochet made his All Elite debut at All In 2024 during the Casino Gauntlet Match. Recently, MVP and Shelton Benjamin also made their respective debuts on recent episodes of Dynamite.
Overall, 2024 has been a great year for All Elite Wrestling in terms of major signings. Only time will tell who will be next to sign for Tony Khan's promotion.
