Will Ospreay was in action on Dynamite this week. During his match on the show, he invented a new move. The Aerial Assassin won the AEW International Championship from Roderick Strong at AEW Double or Nothing.
On this week's edition of AEW's Flagship show, he put his title on the line against Rey Fenix and successfully defended it.
At one point in the match, Will Ospreay was going to deliver a Spanish Fly on his opponent, but Rey blocked it. Ospreay then contracted and invented a new move to plant his opponent on the mat. He spoke about his invention in his recent tweet. He wrote:
"Mate, the moment I realized the Spanish was blocked, I just decided in the instant to pick him up and my brain genuinely said, 'Don’t do an air raid crash, that’s sh*t.' Just invented a move by accident."

Kevin Nash claims Will Ospreay throws bad punches
Speaking on his Kliq This podcast, WWE legend and Hall of Famer Kevin Nash discussed Will Osprey throwing bad punches during his matches. He said he realized this when he was watching one of his matches on replay.
“I noticed while watching that match because I had rewound it to see how long they were in commercial break, that it was only three minutes but felt like three hours. I remember writing TV commercials and having to do those 2:45 breaks, which is a long commercial break. When I watched the match, especially on replay, I noticed that [Will] Ospreay, as much as [Dave] Meltzer praises him, has a tendency to throw bad, rushed punches to maintain speed. Everything is about that speed, pace, and rhythm,” he said.
Big Daddy Cool then suggested that Will Ospreay should learn how to throw good punches from The Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels. The AEW International Champion signed with Tony Khan's company as a full-time wrestler in March. Since then, he has been a staple in the promotion.
