Mone recently confirmed the rumors of her divorce with her ex-husband, Sarath Ton, after eight years of their marriage. The CEO issued a public statement regarding her divorce with tears in her eyes stating the following on her official YouTube channel:

"Tomorrow, finally after a long, long time, I will be finally signing my divorce papers. And I am excited. I am happy. And for me, I am just ready to be free. I am ready to be free of not being afraid. And for so long, I have kept this secret because of how fast life has been going and so much that has been happening over wrestling and I just did not want the outside world to judge or say anything."

Mercedes Mone recently made her AEW in-ring debut at the Double or Nothing Pay-Per-View, where she won the TBS Championship. The CEO is still the champion but a threat named Britt Baker must be bothering her. The D.M.D. made her return at the Forbidden Door Pay-Per-View to confront Mone and the animosity between the two has led to a match at AEW All In 2024.
