Before signing with AEW in 2021, Bryan Danielson was a WWE Superstar. The former Daniel Bryan was one of the most beloved stars on the roster and wrestling veteran. Recently a former champion in Stamford-based company revealed what The American Dragon once told him.

R-Truth has been around since The Attitude Era. He was known as K-Kwiq during his first tenure with the promotion. Truth returned to WWE in 2008 and has been a fan favorite. The veteran never fails to put a smile on the fans' faces and still is a full-time talent on television.

Many also point out how R-Truth seems never to age, which was also discussed during his recent appearance on the INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet podcast. The former World Tag Team Champion recalled how Bryan Danielson told him he didn't have a time and it didn't exist for him. The former 24/7 Champion said it is important to evolve and reinvent yourself.

"I wish I didn’t age. Thank you, man, thank you. Thank you for the kind words. I hear that a lot and it’s good to know. Daniel Bryan always said this, I don’t have a [time]. Time just doesn’t exist to me. I feel like we have to make time for time, in a sense. So I don’t look at it as you’re too old for this. Are you too young for that? Just look at it like we have time to adapt, evolve, create, we have time to make time." [H/T: ChrisVanVliet.com]

R Truth on working with Brock Lesnar in WWE

During an episode of WWE RAW ahead of Royal Rumble 2020, R-Truth had one of the most memorable segments with Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman. The former 24/7 Champion made Lesnar laugh. However, The Beast Incarnate still left Truth laying after hitting him with an F-5.

In a recent talk on INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet, R-Truth revealed that Paul Heyman approached him about the idea of making Brock Lesnar laugh. Heyman put a bet on it, but Truth wanted to let Brock know about the plan.

"Probably Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar. The thing with that was, I come to Gorilla and Paul was there. He’s like, 'Hey, we got a bet going on.' I was like, 'What bet?' He’s like, 'That you can make Brock laugh.' I said, 'What do you mean?' He said, 'We’re not going to tell him what you want to say, we don’t want to hear what you want to say. We just go.' I said, 'Man, I think we should let Brock know what we’re gonna do.' He said, 'Nope, we’re not gonna let Brock know it all.' And that was the most impromptu thing that just came off like sliced bread. It was just great," Truth said. [H/T - CVV]

Lesnar has been absent from WWE since SummerSlam 2023. His plans to return to the company got nixed after his name was seemingly alluded to in the Janel Grant lawsuit against Vince McMahon and the company.
