WCW veteran Konnan has called out a certain multi-time WWE Champion as he does not understand why he has been away from AEW for a long period. This would be Bryan Danielson.
Following his win over Jack Perry at All Out pay-per-view, The American Dragon was taken out by Jon Moxley and the rest of the Blackpool Combat Club. Moxley choked him out using a plastic bag, and there have been little to no updates regarding his status and when he will make his return.
During the latest episode of Keepin' It 100, Konnan discussed the storyline and wondered why Bryan had been out for so long. The veteran mentioned having been choked out by a plastic bag shouldn't have taken him this long to recover.
The 60-year-old wondered what was wrong with Bryan Danielson, as this seemed unbelievable to him.

"How long is he supposed to be out? They put the bag over his head for what, a couple of seconds? What's wrong with him? It's almost like if I went and I held my breath under the pool for 30 seconds and now I can't do anything. I mean, what, I don't understand this very weird angle. Am I wrong here or what?" Another veteran has called out Bryan Danielson amidst his AEW absence
Bryan Danielson has not been confirmed for an appearance at AEW Grand Slam, but his long-time rival Nigel McGuinness has already challenged him to a match. This match has been booked, but it will only go through if Bryan is medically cleared to compete.
Last night on AEW Collision, Nigel sent one final message for Danielson ahead of their potential match. He claimed that Bryan was a coward who was using his health issues to avoid a match with him. Tony Schiavone had to cut him in the middle of his promo to reiterate that he had legitimate health issues and he was not making excuses.
It has been two weeks since Bryan Danielson's last appearance, and fans will just have to tune in this week to Grand Slam to see whether he comes out to face Nigel McGuinness and potentially address Jon Moxley and the members of the Blackpool Combat Club, who turned on him.
