A current top AEW star is seemingly getting erased from WWE history and fans on the internet have something to say. Fans also joked about Vince McMahon seemingly being back in the office.

The major AEW star in question is the current All Elite World Champion, Jon Moxley (fka Dean Ambrose). Moxley departed from WWE in 2019 to join the Jacksonville-based promotion and has achieved remarkable success there.

Many fans still have the desire to see Moxley return to the Stamford-based promotion as Dean Ambrose. However, it doesn't seem likely as WWE are seemingly trying to erase Ambrose from their history. Dean Ambrose was clearly cropped out of the company's YouTube video thumbnail as he was not with his Shield brothers, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins posing in The Shield's attire.

The former WWE star, Jon Moxley (fka Dean Ambrose) has been the AEW World Champion for the past few months now. After successfully defending his world title at Full Gear and Worlds End, Moxley is set to defend it at Dynamite: Maximum Carnage on January 15.

It was recently announced that Moxley will defend his world title against the winner of the Casino Gauntlet Match, which will take place on the January 8, edition of Dynamite.

Moxley along with his Death Riders continue to be at the forefront of storylines on TV and only time will tell what 2025 brings for them.
