Will Ospreay reacts as his girlfriend is set for a first-time-ever match against Jamie Hayter

Will Ospreay's girlfriend, Alex Windsor, is set to face Jamie Hayter next month. The two female British stars have never wrestled against each other before. After the death of her husband and fellow pro wrestler Ryan Smile in October 2020, Alex got into a relationship with his best friend, Ospreay.

AEW star Hayter and Revolution Pro Wrestling star Alex Windsor will lock horns for the first time at the EVE Multiverse Rumble event on Friday, February 7 in Walthamstow, London, UK.

Reacting to their upcoming match-up, The Aerial Assassin shared a tweet on X/Twitter.

Will Ospreay tweeted, "The Mrs has wanted to match for flipping donkeys!! @HailWindsor Vs @jmehytr FRIDAY 7th FEBRUARY Big Penny Social, London."

Jamie Hayter is a former EVE International Champion. Her last match in the promotion was at EVE Reign After Queendom at Resistance Gallery in Bethnal Green, Greater London, England, UK in February 2020. She lost the title to Sammii Jayne in an EVE International Title Four-Way match which also featured Nina Samuels and Skye Smitson.

Will Ospreay endorsed Buddy Matthews on AEW Dynamite this week

Will Ospreay was in action on this week's edition of AEW Dynamite and locked horns with House of Black member Buddy Matthews in a singles match and won after executing a Hidden Blade on his opponent.

Following his victory on Dynamite, he endorsed Matthews, stating that he was a talented singles wrestler and didn't need a leader (Malakai Black) or a faction (HoB) to be successful. He also added that if the former WWE star ever needs help, he can count on him. The two stars even shook hands afterward.

In a post-show exclusive interview, Buddy Matthews acknowledged Ospreay's friendly gesture and subtly hinted at splitting up with House of Black to start a singles career in AEW.
