This year's All In PPV at Wembley Stadium turned out to be a huge success for AEW. Last year, the event was held at the same location. But Tony Khan has decided to change the venue for next year.
All In 2025 will be held at Globe Life Field Stadium in Arlington, Texas. With the Jacksonville-based promotion's biggest event heading to Texas next year, the AEW head honcho might pull off something unthinkable.
As 'All In' is taking place in Texas, who better to feature at the event than The Texas Rattlesnake himself? Let's explore the possibility of Tony Khan hiring Stone Cold Steve Austin for All In 2025 for an appearance or even a match.
WWE's failure to bag Steve Austin for WrestleMania 40
Steve Austin returned to action after 19 years at WrestleMania 38. On night one of the event, he wrestled Kevin Owens in a No Holds Barred match and even beat him.
He was heavily rumored to be a part of this year's WrestleMania (40). According to rumors, he was supposed to help Cody Rhodes fight off The Bloodline and help him secure his victory over Roman Reigns. Unfortunately, it didn't happen.
It was reported that WWE and Stone Cold couldn't reach a financial agreement and that is why he didn't appear at the event. However, in an interview with Unlikely with Adrian Hernandez, he revealed that he and his wife had other commitments.
"It was close, and they certainly reached out to me. We had conversations, but my wife and I had some things going on, and I didn't need to go to Philly at that time," he said in the interview.
Tony Khan could make an irrefutable offer
Tony Khan has proved time and again that he isn't afraid to invest money that might prove beneficial for his company later. He has invested so much already to run his promotion.
If Steve Austin has a free schedule for next year, Khan could make him an offer he won't be able to refuse. Anything is possible for the right price.
Tony Khan has proved that he's willing to work with anyone who will prove to be good for business, even Shane McMahon. Therefore, if he could get The Bionic Redneck for a show, he would definitely not let the opportunity slide.
The return of Austin would be great for the pro wrestling industry
Steve Austin has been MIA from the pro wrestling industry for two years. His return is sure to bring lots of attention from the fans, which would prove to be very beneficial for the industry as a whole.
On top of that, an appearance in AEW would surely elevate the company to a whole new level, given Austin's reputation in the wrestling world.
Although it may seem fascinating, Steve Austin appearing in AEW is only a possibility, not a certainty. Stone Cold has a history with WWE and therefore he is more likely to return to WWE if he makes his wrestling comeback.
