Fans have reacted after Drew McIntyre shockingly quit WWE on the latest episode of RAW. He has become a mainstay of the Stamford-based promotion for many years and even won the WWE Championship, defeating many stars during his reign. After losing the championship at Elimination Chamber 2021, The Scottish Warrior has been on a quest to win the world title once again.

McIntyre won the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XL after defeating Seth Rollins. However, Damian Priest later cashed in his Money in the Bank contract and pinned Drew to become the new champion.

The Scottish Warrior failed to capture the gold against The Archer of Infamy at Clash at the Castle last week. Many fans were convinced that Drew would pick up the victory in front of his native fans but he was not able to do it due to a little distraction from CM Punk.

On the latest episode of RAW, a very disappointed Drew announced that he was quitting the Stamford-based promotion and stormed out of the ring.

Fans were baffled by The Scottish Warrior spontaneously announcing his departure from WWE. Many fans said that he was All Elite, meaning AEW could be his next potential destination.

WWE Superstar CM Punk said Drew McIntyre will never win a championship under his watch

WWE Superstar CM Punk interfering as a referee in the main event of Clash at the Castle 2024 surely distracted Drew McIntyre from achieving his goal and winning the World Heavyweight Championship in front of his home fans.

While speaking on the media scrum following the event, the Second City Saint said that McIntyre would never be a champion as long as he was there in the Stamford-based promotion.

"No animosity towards Drew (McIntyre) for the injury, the animosity comes from being gleeful about it. He said he prayed for it, now I am going to prey on him. And he's never going to ever be a champion here as long as I live. Not as long as we are on the same brand, not as long as we are in the same company," CM Punk said.

It will be interesting to see when these two stars will clash in the future.
