A former WWE Superstar discussed the possibility of Bryan Danielson losing the AEW World Championship to Jon Moxley at the WrestleDream pay-per-view. The star being discussed is Tommy Dreamer. The latter is one of the best ECW stars and also had a decent run in WWE.

The American Dragon will battle his former friend this weekend on Saturday after Moxley betrayed him at All Out. The former declared war against his opponent's new alliance. The Lunatic Fringe has been after the AEW World Championship for more than a month now. He defeated Darby Allin to snatch his number-one contender spot for the world title and is headed to dethrone the champion.

Bryan Danielson will retire if he loses the AEW World Championship at WrestleDream, as he stated earlier in August. Many fans wonder who will walk out as the champion at WrestleDream pay-per-view. The ECW veteran recently talked about the possible outcome of the bout.

While speaking on Busted Open Radio, Tommy Dreamer claimed that Jon Moxley dethroning Bryan Danielson could help the former and his stable to get heat.

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

"I actually look forward to Jon Moxley if he's going to be the champion. Again, a heel and a heel group is your first basis of getting this company to the next round. I would use that as your springboard and then keep on heating up my heels so my babyfaces can rally," he said. [H/T - Wrestling Inc.]

Bryan Danielson ambushes Jon Moxley on Dynamite

The American Dragon and Wheeler Yuta defeated Claudio Castagnoli and PAC in the main event of Dynamite's go-home show.

Following the contest, Jon Moxley came to the ring and confronted his future opponent. However, Danielson received a payback for the Lunatic Fringe's past actions as he attacked the latter backstage.

It will be interesting to see if Jon Moxley manages to capture the AEW World Championship for the fourth time in his career.
