A former WWE personality just posted a message about his experience working with AEW. He also mentioned how he looks forward to the near future for all fans of the promotion.
Matt Camp was known in the Stamford-based promotion as a host for several shows, including The Bump, RAW Talk, and SmackDown LowDown. However, he was suddenly released in February, and a few months later, he found himself in a new home.
A month ago, Matt Camp suddenly appeared on AEW's social media accounts as the host of Inside the Continental Classic, where he would talk about information regarding the tournament. He recently took X/Twitter to talk about his first month working for AEW and how he's enjoyed the experience. He even posted photos of the Costco Guys and Shelton Benjamin.
"It’s been a very rewarding first month officially part of @AEW and I’m thankful to be working with such a fun, driven group of people across the board. Thanks to everyone who has been so supportive. Looking forward to creating more ways for fans to enjoy it all! Merry Christmas!" Camp wrote.

The former WWE name reveals why he was let go by the company
In June, Matt Camp revealed the reason behind his sudden release from WWE a few months prior, after working for them for around four years.
During an episode of his The Wrestling Matt podcast, he talked about how Michael Cole broke the news to him. It was not Cole himself who was responsible for this, but he revealed that an HR representative from WWE-TKO made the decision. This was due to cost-cutting that needed to be done and had nothing to do with the quality of his work.
"I was told by Michael Cole [about my release] when that happened, and he was not the one who let me go. It was an HR representative; I was told it had nothing to do with anything I did; it was a cost-cutting measure, or whatever you want to call it; [we] are tightening the budget," Camp said.
Now, he has found a new role, talking about the Continental Classic. Once the tournament concludes, it remains to be seen what AEW will have him do next. The company could add him to the list of people working on hosting pre- and post-show analyses for the promotion.
