A top AEW star was recently a victim of online criticism for the past few months. WWE has seemingly disallowed the former superstar from responding to negative comments online.
Ricochet has been one of the most entertaining stars in the world of professional wrestling. Despite his stellar in-ring skills, he was never considered a top star during his time in WWE and was a continuous victim of poor bookings.
His bookings in WWE also caused a lot of people to poke fun at the 36-year-old on several occasions, with some even flat-out trolling the One and Only. Ricochet finally left the Stamford-based promotion earlier this year and joined AEW but that didn't stop the fans from picking on him.
The negative comments only got worse after his fiancée, Samantha Irvin announced her exit from WWE last week. While people kept taking shots at the AEW star, he has not responded to the negative comments. Irvin has now revealed on X (fka Twitter) that the Stamford-based company doesn't allow its stars to respond to negative comments online.
"Actually we just aren’t allowed to respond. No matter what people say, any response looks bad," she wrote.

Samantha Irvin came to AEW star Ricochet's defense after a fan posted a disrespectful comment about him
A lot of fans were upset to learn that Samantha Irvin announced her exit from the WWE via social media posts last week on various platforms. Considering she was one of the best ring announcers in the company, some fans didn't take the news kindly.
A fan commented on Irvin's announcement post, saying she chose a jobber like Ricochet over a career. The fan spelled the star's name wrong and called him "Richochet," and Samantha fired back with a sarcastic comment.
"@tristennwilliams RICHochet is correct."
