It was revealed that WWE legend Taz was barred from entering the arena for tonight's episode of AEW Dynamite in Calgary, Canada, stopping him from his prior commitments. This came at the hands of Chris Jericho and The Young Bucks.

The former ECW icon has been working on the commentary team for the promotion for four years now and usually works Dynamite and pay-per-views alongside Tony Schiavone and Excalibur.

Tonight, during the Owen Hart Foundation Cup finals match between Hangman Adam Page and Bryan Danielson, the commentary team talked about Taz's absence from the table.

Excalibur mentioned that he was absent because The Young Bucks barred him from the building at Chris Jericho's request. This was similar to last week when The Learning Tree had him escorted out before replacing him at the table. He has been replaced by Nigel McGuinness, who is part of Collision's commentary team.

"No Taz is actually in the city of Calgary. He came to the building but because of Chris Jericho lobbying the EVPs, he was banned from the Saddledome and had to return back to the hotel. So we're joined tonight by Nigel McGuinness," Excalibur mentioned.

This is also the perfect opportunity for McGuinness, as he once more will be commenting on The American Dragon's match, someone he has been criticizing for some time now.
