A WWE Hall of Famer recently claimed that he would transform the entire landscape of AEW in just 90 days if he replaced Tony Khan in the promotion. The veteran who made the claim was Eric Bischoff.
Tony Khan launched his own pro wrestling company in 2019. Since its inception, the promotion has given tough competition to other companies like WWE in the market. Currently, it is the second-largest pro wrestling promotion in the world.
Speaking on his 83 Weeks podcast, Eric Bischoff was asked if he would do a better job than Tony Khan if he replaced him in AEW. He said:
"In a heartbeat [assemble a roster to surpass AEW]. Again it's not a talent issue. It would be so easy. If somebody were to come along and say, 'Go start a wrestling company', the last thing you do is even think about WWE. But you could snatch AEW market share in momentum in 90 days. It would be so easy. They're just that bad. It would be so easy to put out a product that would be so much better. " [From 01:04 to 01:50]

Tony Khan and Eric Bischoff don't share a good relationship
Tony Khan and Eric Bischoff used to be on good terms, but everything changed after the former took a shot at WCW and Ted Turner. The AEW CEO claimed to be a better booker than Turner, which annoyed the former RAW General Manager so much that he developed a strong dislike for the AEW President.
Bischoff later started taking shots and criticizing TK and his company wherever he got the chance. While the AEW head honcho has stated that he respects Eric Bischoff's accomplishments in the field of pro wrestling, he doesn't appreciate the WCW veteran taking digs at him and his company.
Recently, the two personalities were involved in an online war on X (formerly Twitter) after Khan made some snarky comments on Bischoff's Strictly Business podcast coming to an end.
