A WWE Hall of Famer has sent a message to MJF, saying he doesn't "hate" him anymore after the latter's latest social media post that went viral. Mark Henry reacted to the former AEW World Champion's heartfelt post about his best friend, in which he extended his support to him during Pride Month.
Maxwell Fridman Jacob made his blockbuster return to All Elite Wrestling at Double or Nothing 2024. Though he isn't explicitly acting like a babyface, MJF is no longer a heel, with fans firmly behind him. He's gearing up to wrestle his first match of the year at this week's AEW Dynamite, where he faces Rush.
The Salt of the Earth recently took to Twitter to share a picture of his best friend and reveal how he was bullied in school for his homosexuality. The post won over the fans and quickly went viral. It also caught the attention of Mark Henry, who recently left AEW. Henry wrote that MJF was firmly a babyface now and that he didn't hate him anymore. Check out the WWE legend's post below:
"Damn bro you’re officially a baby face now! I don’t hate you anymore! Hahahaha. @BustedOpenRadio," wrote Mark Henry.
WWE veteran Dutch Mantell isn't happy with MJF's AEW return angle
While many expected MJF to instantly be thrust into a major feud upon his return, AEW chose a different direction by pitting him against Rush.
On his recent Story Time with Dutch Mantell podcast, the former WWE manager expressed his disappointment at how the promotion booked the 28-year-old's return. Mantell believed his comeback had turned out to be a damp squib:
"I saw MJF's return, it wasn't anything to it. Nothing really happened. That's when they should have busted the big angle," said Mantell.
While not many expect the former AEW Champion to lose his first match upon return, Rush could still put up a brave challenge and push the former to his limits.
