A WWE Hall of Famer has come down on Tony Khan for the latter's limited approach to AEW’s creative direction. This matter will no doubt cause a debate among wrestling fans.
WWE legend, Bully Ray, usually does not hold back when it comes to giving his opinion on all things related to professional wrestling. He has now suggested that Tony Khan prefers short-term storytelling because he thinks his fans want just that.
Ray was speaking on the Busted Open podcast when he said:
"I think [Khan's] overall feeling is that any type of long-term story is not where it's at for AEW. He thinks his fans want week-to-week television. That excites the fanbase. I'm almost happy to hear these words come out of Tony's mouth, because it helps me to understand his thought process when booking this stuff." [H/T Wrestling Inc]

Jim Cornette thinks Daniel Garcia should snub WWE and take Tony Khan’s offer
Daniel Garcia is undoubtedly a talented wrestler and is touted to be a star in the future. Over the last few months, there have been rumors that he could be leaving AEW soon to join WWE.
Wrestling veteran, Jim Cornette, has now had his say on the matter and felt that Garcia would be wise to take up Tony Khan’s offer and implied staying in AEW would be better for the 26-year-old at this point in his career. He was speaking on his The Experience Podcast when he said:
"From what I've seen of Mr. Garcia, if I was Mr. Garcia I'd take Tony's money. Now if Garcia in five years is a big star and I am not talking about if Tony is still around, I am talking about as a big star in this business probably in WWE to be a big star in this business then I will... you can play me the tape of those words and I'll cut up the tape and eat it on the air."
It will be interesting to see what Garcia will do next amid interest from World Wrestling Entertainment. Tony Khan on the other hand will be hoping that the talented youngster continues his stay in AEW.
