A top AEW star revealed that a WWE Hall of Famer's son is currently training with Adam Copeland (fka Edge). The star also believes that the youngster will carry on his father's legacy.
The WWE Hall of Famer in question is none other than Sting. The Icon wrestled his final match earlier this year at AEW Revolution after a legendary career. However, fans still hope to see him in the wrestling landscape in some capacity. Meanwhile, the All Elite star, Darby Allin reflected on his involvement with The Icon.
Darby revealed that Sting's son is training with him and Adam Copeland (fka Edge) to become a wrestler. During his recent interview with the New York Post, Darby stated that The Icon's son will carry on his father's legacy:
"I think the next evolution of anything to do with Sting moving forward is getting his son ready to actually be a wrestler. He’s training with me right now. He’s training with Adam Copeland. Sting’s time and wrestling, I would like to think is never actually done in the sense of, like his in ring is done. He’s a man of his word. He’s not going to come out of retirement, that’s for damn sure. I think he’s gonna pass on the next legacy, and it’s gonna be through his son." [H/T New York Post]

Adam Copeland (fka Edge) provides medical update amid absence
At AEW Double or Nothing earlier this year, Adam Copeland (fka Edge) suffered an injury during his match against Malakai Black and has been out of action since then. In a recent interview with AMNY, Copeland provided an update, stating the following:
"It feels good, it still doesn’t have the full strength back yet. The explosion isn’t there, the full mobility isn't back yet," Copeland said. "I was able to get in the ring and kind of roll around a little bit just to see where it’s at. I felt some of the deficiency, it still isn’t up to it but it is in the right direction."
It has been four months since Adam Copeland has been out of action. Only time will tell when the Rated "R" Superstar will be healthy enough to return.
