They might be an extremely hated duo at the moment due to their AEW gimmicks, but The Young Bucks' credentials as a tag team just can't be undermined. During an exclusive chat with Bill Apter, Jeff Jarrett admitted that the Bucks were in the conversation for being the greatest team ever.

Despite never signing a full-time contract with WWE, The Young Bucks are widely known as one of the most influential modern-day tag teams.

Matthew and Nicholas Jackson have often pushed the boundaries inside the ring, and from an athletic standpoint, even Jeff Jarrett felt the brothers' contributions to tag team wrestling were undeniable.

While speaking to Sportskeeda Wrestling's Bill Apter, Jeff Jarrett admitted that The Young Bucks had done enough in pro wrestling as a tag team to be considered among the all-time greats.

Additionally, their newfound heel characters entertained him and claimed they should double down on their villainous EVP personas.

Jarrett explained:

"The Bucks have been, you know, you can get into that discussion of the greatest tag team of all time. They are, hands down, in the conversation, and that's with their athletic ability. With their character and personality, because, truth be known, they truly are the original, not OGs, but they are the original EVPs, and I think it's high time they start throwing their weight around. Well, I'd love to see them do it a lot more." [8:30 - 9:06]

Jeff Jarrett opened up about his current AEW duties

"Double J" last wrestled in a match on AEW TV on a Collision episode on May 25th. The 56-year-old still puts out some age-defying performances in the ring whenever he competes, but his biggest responsibilities lie behind the scenes.

Jarrett stated that he was looking after AEW's Business Development and honestly revealed that he was having a lot of fun in his career.

Jeff Jarrett has been an impactful figure in wrestling as he helped establish TNA as a booker and create many top wrestlers. The WWE Hall of Famer is cherishing his ongoing role in All Elite Wrestling and even disclosed how technological advancements fascinate him:

"I'm in Business Development, and so, that's mostly international, but yeah, Business Development. It's been my whole life; I can truthfully say that I love the industry more today than I did when I broke in. Technology that affects not just our business, but any business, specifically the entertainment industry around the globe, just continues to make things new, exciting, and innovative. My promoter brain kicks in. Very, very exciting stuff." [From 01:04 onwards]

As noted, Jeff Jarrett still wrestles sporadically, and even though he is a busy man backstage in AEW, fans should not be surprised if he returns to the ring for a match or two shortly.
