A WWE legend recently announced that he will return at AEW X NJPW Forbidden Door 2024. The star in question is Jim Ross. Last month, a worrying update regarding the legendary commentator came to light.
The WWE Hall of Famer took to his X (Twitter) account to reveal that he had suffered from shortness of breath. As a result, the 72-year-old opted out of the Double or Nothing PPV.
During a recent edition of his Grilling JR podcast, the veteran informed fans that he was feeling ''good!''
“I was diagnosed as having, I think they call it Virus A or something along those lines. So I struggled a little bit for a couple of days—three days—but I got over the hump, as I always do. Seems like I always kick out. Can’t do any jobs, you know, not in Oklahoma. Anyway, I’m battling. I feel good, actually!" he said.

The AEW star also revealed that he will attend the upcoming Forbidden Door pay-per-view.
"I’ve got some appearances coming up. The next time I’m going on the road will be for the AEW pay-per-view, so I’m gonna resume my schedule of that activity. So I’ll be at [Forbidden Door], as far as I know. If Tony Khan doesn’t want me there, then he’ll tell me, but that’s not been the case. He’s been very supportive, which I appreciate,” he added. AEW commentator Jim Ross gets angry while talking about Bob Sweetan
During a recent edition of his Grilling JR podcast, Jim Ross slammed late wrestler Bob Sweetan. The veteran commentator didn't hold back from expressing his dislike for Bob. Ross has been vocal about his dislike for Sweetan in the past, too.
Sweetan was a controversial figure in the world of pro wrestling. In 1990, he was convicted of physically abusing his daughter, Candace. He died on February 10, 2017, at the age of 76.
