Jon Moxley took over AEW a few weeks ago and has claimed that All Elite Wrestling will be getting a hard reset. However, one WWE legend believes Tony Khan might be "upset" with Mox's comments.
Dustin Rhodes is the latest to comment on Moxley's recent actions. When Jon Moxley returned in August from a brief three-month hiatus, he cut a promo in the ring where he told someone backstage that AEW is "not your company anymore." Since then, Moxley has made a lot of drastic changes.
He aligned himself with Marina Shafir and betrayed Bryan Danielson at AEW All Out. The Purveyor of Violence also recruited Claudio Castagnoli, PAC, and Wheeler Yuta into his new faction, The Death Riders. Moxley went on to win the AEW World Championship from The American Dragon at WrestleDream 2024. Since then, he has waged war on the entire locker room in his mission to transform the company. However, Dustin Rhodes feels Tony Khan may take exception to Mox's comments.
During a recent interview with Sports Guys Talk Wrestling, Dustin Rhodes stated that AEW is everyone's company as they all work there. He added that Tony Khan knew that he owned the promotion and would be upset with Mox for saying otherwise. The former WWE star also noted that they have to be ready for anything since anyone can get attacked by The Death Riders.

"Mox and his group, they're tough. They're fighters and that's what they do and have done for a living. I don't know what Mox's deal is, but this isn't his company. We all work here, and I've been here since the beginning. Tony [Khan] knows that and Tony knows it is his company. I would imagine Tony is a little bit upset that he's calling it 'his company.' You always have to have eyes in the back of your head and ready for anything because they can attack anybody at any time, whether you agree with them or not. They are there in numbers. Numbers are what gets people down." [H/T Fightful]
Jon Moxley will defend his title against Orange Cassidy at AEW Full Gear 2024
Since Jon Moxley has waged war against the entire locker room, everyone except for Orange Cassidy and a few other babyfaces have been afraid of his group. The former AEW International Champion has realized that to prevent Mox's twisted vision for the company from coming true.
Additionally, The Purveyor of Violence made this feud more personal when he brutally assaulted Chuck Taylor. This has set up a match between both men for Full Gear 2024 for the AEW World Championship.
It will be interesting to see if Orange Cassidy will be able to defeat Jon Moxley for the title at Full Gear.
