WWE Legend comments on Stone Cold Steve Austin potentially going to AEW

A WWE legend recently commented on Stone Cold Steve Austin potentially joining AEW in some capacity. The star in question is Kevin Nash.

The last time fans saw Austin wrestle inside the squared circle was at WrestleMania 38. He defeated Kevin Owens in a No Holds Barred match. It was his first wrestling match in WWE over 19 years. The Texas Rattle Snake also made an appearance on Night Two of 'Mania that year and hit The Stone Cold Stunner on Vince McMahon, Austin Theory, and Pat McAfee.

On the recent edition of Kliq This podcast, Kevin Nash's co-host asked him who he thinks Tony Khan should sign that would help make an impact. Big Daddy Cool said that he thinks there's nobody that can help turn things around in the company. He was then asked to comment on Tony Khan potentially hiring The Texas Rattlesnake to his roster.

"Number one, Steve [Austin] ain't doing anything every week nor is anybody in that realm in their life... Well, what you got to do is you got to quit f*cking going on national television and s*iting in the ring." [From 03:37 to 04:04]

Eric Bischoff thinks AEW should cut down on its roster

The AEW President Tony Khan has a stacked roster full of talented stars but not everyone gets screen time to display their skills on TV.

Speaking on his 83 Weeks podcast, WCW veteran Eric Bischoff stated that the AEW head should release several stars as they are not adding any value to the company.

"Re-evaluate the talent roster. Get rid of the people that there's just no reason to have around. Thin out the herd, because the roster's too big and what's the harm? ... I don't know what [Tony Khan's] payroll is, but it's got to be massive with the amount of money he's paying people," Bischoff stated.

The WCW veteran also pointed out that Khan keeping the unused talents on his roster is a huge waste of money and very damaging to the company's morale.
