A WWE legend has criticized AEW for downplaying Swerve Strickland and openly sent a message. It was a big blunder on the part of the company. The legend in question is none other than Bully Ray.
Ray is someone who is not afraid to speak his mind and point out certain things, and he did that once again. AEW shared a graphic on social media promoting the upcoming edition of Dynamite emanating from the Calgary Stampede Grounds. The graphic featured Chris Jericho as FTW Champion and Will Ospreay as International Champion but did not add the term world champion beside Swerve Strickland’s name.
The WWE Hall of Famer noticed this and was clearly not impressed. He took to X/Twitter to send a message to Tony Khan and co.
“Constructive criticism… Since you included “FTW CHAMPION” for Jericho and “INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION” for Ospreay. How about including “AEW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION” for Swerve. Hope this helps. 🤓👍🏽 xo - Uncle Bully,” he wrote.

What Bully Ray pointed out was very important, as wrestlers like Swerve Strickland deserve more appreciation given all that he has achieved in his career so far.
MJF does not like former WWE star Swerve Strickland
Former AEW World Champion MJF is known to stir up dissension when it comes to speaking his mind about his opponents.
He did that again, revealing that he does not like former WWE star Swerve Strickland. While speaking on The Busted Open Radio, The Salt of the Earth said:
"I don't like him... actually I'd go as far as to say I hate him. We don't agree on anything. We look at professional wrestling in entirely different ways. I'd go ahead to say I actually have more disdain for Ospreay than I do for him... but what I will say is this: I feel bad for Will Ospreay tonight. I have never seen a guy more locked in than Shane Strickland is, right now. Sorry, 'Swerve'... than Swerve is right now. The guy is absolutely locked in," MJF said.
It will be great to see MJF and Swerve Strickland compete against each other for the AEW World Championships soon.
