WWE legend Bully Ray recently expressed concern over Taz's physical segment with Chris Jericho on AEW Dynamite this week.

On the latest edition of AEW Dynamite, fans saw a segment involving Taz, HOOK, and Chris Jericho. The Demo God offered to be HOOK's mentor and tried to convince the FTW Champion to accept his offer but the latter refused. Therefore, Jericho got frustrated and attacked Taz.

During a recent edition of Busted Open, Bully Ray commented on the segment. The WWE Hall of Famer talked about Taz's injuries and stated that The Human Suplex Machine needed to be careful in the ring after all that his body had gone through in the past.

"Folks, that is the first time I've seen Taz do any physicality in a wrestling ring, and I can't even remember when. Taz doesn't get involved physically anymore. He can't. Other than his knee, Taz also has a broken neck that was surgically fused together. He's gotta be really careful out there," he said. [16:10 - 16:47]

Bully Ray claims Taz's segment on AEW Dynamite could've been better

During the same podcast, Bully Ray also opined on the theatrical aspect of the Jericho-HOOK-Taz segment on AEW's Wednesday show. The legendary wrestler admitted it was a good segment but felt it could have been better.

"I couldn't take my eyes off the middle of the ring. I wish Taz wasn't standing in the middle of the ring next to Jericho. It almost told me that something was going to happen. I would've just like Taz skedaddle into the corner and not be seen anymore until the time is right," he said. [13:55 - 14:28]

He added:

"I know there are two things I would have done first. I would either show concern for my father and walk over to him and help him up and make sure he's okay, or I would've beat the dogsh*t out of Chris Jericho. Those are my natural reactions as a son who just saw his father get shoved on his a**. To me, they missed that beat completely." [17:30 - 18:10]

The FTW Champion didn't check on his father at all. Instead, he went up to Chris Jericho and asked him to leave the ring. The Ocho reluctantly did what he was asked.
