A certain WWE Hall of Famer has just announced that his time with AEW was coming to an end following the expiration of his contract by the month's end. This would be Arn Anderson.

The veteran has been with AEW for almost five years, as he served as a manager for the likes of Cody Rhodes and the Nightmare Family, and Wardlow. He was last seen on live television in August last year, standing ringside by his son Brock Anderson as he challenged Luchasaurus for the TNT Championship.

Earlier today on the latest episode of The ARN Show, Arn Anderson revealed that May 31st was the last day of his AEW contract, as he thanked everyone who he had worked with. He also mentioned that in the meantime, he would be mentoring his son, who he believed had the ability to make it in the industry.

An excerpt from the podcast can be seen below.

"This coming May 31 is the last date on my contract, and I just want to say thank you, I appreciate everything and that goes to everybody who works there. I just want to say thank you and see you down the road."

It remains to be seen whether Anderson decides to explore other options from major companies with his son, or whether they'll decide to try their hand around the independent circuit instead.
