A WWE legend has hinted at his return to the Stamford-based promotion after a four-year absence in order to work with The Wyatt Sicks. The star in question is Matt Hardy.
The Wyatt Sicks made their awe-inspiring debut on this week's episode of Monday Night RAW. Members of the group, clad in costumes depicting characters from the late Bray Wyatt's Firefly Fun House, were seen having laid waste to the backstage area, and had seemingly assaulted several WWE personnel. The faction, led by Uncle Howdy, posed on the entrance ramp together to close out the show.
During a recent episode of The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy, former AEW star and WWE legend Matt Hardy discussed the arrival of the Wyatt Sicks and the presentation of the group on RAW. Hardy's co-host Jon Alba brought up recent rumors of The Broken One's potential involvement with the stable - something he himself has teased frequently on social media - and inquired whether Hardy had been contacted to be a part of the group.
The Angelic Diablo responded by suggesting that he had engaged in certain talks on the subject. Hardy also teased the prospect of his participation in a program with Wyatt Sicks at some point in the future, alluding to his past alliance with Bray Wyatt.

"The group was established but... There were some conversations that I took part in that maybe down the road, there might be something special because of my history with Bray [Wyatt]." [9:14 - 9:24]
Hardy was involved in a feud with The Eater of Worlds in 2018. Their rivalry would later mature into a partnership, leading to the duo winning the RAW Tag Team Championships. However, Hardy and Wyatt would drop the titles later that year at Extreme Rules to the team of Curtis Axel and, coincidentally, Bo Dallas.
WWE Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn escaped the Wyatt Sicks massacre
The Wyatt Sicks made an unforgettable debut on the June 17, 2024, edition of Monday Night RAW. The members of the faction had ostensibly decimated the gorilla position and taken out several WWE figures, most notably Chad Gable, who was spotted backstage bloody and unconscious.
One superstar who had evaded the massacre was Sami Zayn. The reigning Intercontinental Champion revealed during an interview with Sportsnet that he had left the arena prior to the main event, thus missing out on the destructive debut of the group.
It remains to be seen what the mysterious stable has in store for the WWE Universe.
