A reunion for The Hurt Business seems to be all but impossible now, at least in WWE. With Shelton Benjamin having already departed the promotion, MVP and Bobby Lashley are next in line and have both reportedly been removed from WWE's internal roster.
WWE Hall of Famer Booker T addressed the rumors that MVP and Lashley would reform The Hurt Business outside the Stamford-based company. While many believe the two, along with Benjamin, are heading to AEW, Booker thinks there's a better spot for them: TNA.
On the latest episode of his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T claimed that AEW's roster was saturated, and thus, the reunited faction would gain more screen time in TNA:
"It's not so saturated in TNA where these guys would be seen and highlighted on a weekly basis," said Booker.

He noted that the former WWE Superstars would make more money in All Elite Wrestling, but he still thinks they could thrive in the Nashville-based promotion:
"Of course, they could end up in AEW and of course, they would probably make a whole lot more money," said Booker. "If done right in TNA the money would still be there for them because they could go out and do other projects ... I think it's a win-win situation over there." [H/T WrestlingInc]
Dave Meltzer believes The Hurt Business will attempt to reunite in AEW
MVP and Bobby Lashley initially formed an alliance back in May 2020 and were later joined by Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander. However, the faction had a bumpy road due to injuries and questionable booking and ultimately dissolved in early 2022.
With MVP and Lashley reportedly set to exit the company once their contracts expire, fans have speculated on whether they will reunite with Shelton Benjamin on the independent scene to reform the group. On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer claimed that WWE was under the assumption they would do just that:
"WWE is under the assumption that they are gone and that they are going to try to revamp The Hurt Business. I don't know if they'll use that name or not, I guess it depends on the ownership of the name. They wanna get Shelton Benjamin who's also a free agent and revamp the group in AEW."
Meltzer went on to say that it was ultimately up to Tony Khan. But with the AEW President recently making budget cuts, it's unclear when or if The Hurt Business might turn up in the Jacksonville-based promotion.
