AEW has seemingly benefitted from the multiple scandals surrounding WWE, and according to D-Von Dudley, Vince McMahon's current position in the promotion has allowed his sons to find their way into Tony Khan's promotion.
Vince McMahon shockingly returned to WWE earlier this year, quickly facilitating the promotion's sale to Endeavor. However, while the promotion claims McMahon isn't involved in creative, many believe he has usurped Triple H from the role.
During his recent interview on INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet, D-Von explained why he's happier with his sons in AEW over the Stamford-based promotion.
“They're doing their thing, they're doing their thing, they're still doing Dark in AEW. They're having a good time. I’d rather them be with AEW right now than probably go to NXT or WWE. In my opinion, there's so much going on over there right now that I just feel like they might get lost in the shuffle somewhere."

D-Von continued, commenting on the confusion behind Triple H and Vince McMahon's roles across the past few months.
"You know, there's so much disarray, because no one knows what's going on. Is Vince back? Is he not back? Is Triple H in control? Is he not in control? I don't think anybody knows, except for the people that are working within the company.” (H/T Chris Van Vliet)
It remains unclear whether Dudley is a supporter of Triple H or Vince McMahon, but he recently recalled how The Game helped him during his Reverend D-Von gimmick.

D-Von believes AEW is the best fit for his sons, and according to his faith, it's where they belong for now
D-Von was recently caught in a hilarious Twitter scandal after fans picked up that he had been liking p*rnographic content on the social media app. The veteran has since responded to fans and assured them that it was simply a joke.
Continuing in the same interview, Dudley explained why he believes that his sons are right where they're meant to be.
"I think AEW is the best fit for them. I didn't always think that because I used to work for the company, WWE, and all the turmoil that's going on right now started. But I'm a very Biblical person, to the point where I feel God does everything for a reason. And they were told not right now." (H/T Chris Van Vliet)
The veteran also emphasized that WWE's issues have become more proof to him that his sons are better off far away from the promotion. It remains to be seen if they'll be signed, but since D-Von Dudley is their father, this could become a reality.
