WWE legend Jim Ross is one of the most recognizable names in professional wrestling. Currently, he is signed to AEW, where he serves as an analyst, senior advisor, and commentator.
The 72-year-old re-signed with the Jacksonville-based promotion earlier this year. Unfortunately, due to health issues, he has barely appeared on TV in recent months.
However, in a recent appearance on his Grilling JR podcast, Ross revealed that AEW Worlds End might be his next gig. The legendary commentator added that he would probably cover the last two matches of the upcoming pay-per-view. Notably, the PPV will take place in Orlando, Florida, on December 28.
"I’m gonna be at the next AEW pay-per-view; it’s gonna be emanating from Orlando later this month. I think that’ll be my next assignment. Tony’s been putting me in the two main events, the last two matches of the pay-per-view. So hopefully that’ll continue. I figure it will. I haven’t heard anything differently [sic]. But that’s a nice trip for me. That’s a car trip, and no airplanes," Ross said. [H/T: Fightful]

WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross provides an update on his health
In the same episode of the Grilling JR podcast, Jim Ross revealed that his health has drastically improved over the past few months. Additionally, the 72-year-old stated that the wound that resulted from the radiation treatments he received for skin cancer last year was ''healing.''
"My health has improved immensely. I got my nurse, who comes by twice a week, checks my vitals, [and] dresses my wound. Can you believe that that wound, which was a result of 22 radiation treatments for skin cancer, is still being nursed over a year [later]? The good news is that it’s healing. It’s shrinking, and that’s important for me. I’d like to get the bandages off and move on, but I’ve adjusted well!" the WWE legend revealed. [H/T: Fightful]
