An AEW star recently took a major jab at the current Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes on Dynamite. The star in question here is Chris Jericho.

During a recent interview with Behind The Turnbuckle, The American Nightmare said he does not like it when veteran wrestlers return to the business and claim they're there to help younger talents.

It seems as if Chris Jericho heard Cody's interview, as the veteran took a subtle dig at The American Nightmare on this week's episode of Dynamite. The reigning FTW Champion claimed he was in AEW to help young guys.

This is not the first time an AEW star has taken a dig at WWE on Wednesday Night Dynamite. Hence, fans were quick to react to the same.

"So, yet again, AEW's entire existence is their crazy-ex-girlfriend obsession with WWE," a fan said.
"Still doing cheap shots at WWE! They need to move on; worry about their ratings," a fan suggested.

Well, it looks like some fans did enjoy The Ocho taking a jab at Cody Rhodes on Dynamite.

''Jericho is killing it right now!" a fan claimed.
"That’s why he’s the goat,'' a fan wrote.

Cody Rhodes comments on sharing a personal moment with John Cena at WrestleMania 40

The Undisputed WWE Universal Title Match between Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns at WrestleMania XL saw interference from top names like The Undertaker, The Rock, and John Cena.

During a recent appearance on the Behind The Turnbuckle podcast, The American Nightmare detailed sharing a personal moment with John Cena during his match against Roman Reigns.

"I just got to make eye contact with John [Cena], and I don't think I've ever learned anything more in my life than just the moment of eye contact with the captain, the leader, the dude, and he's out here to be part of this for me. Like even now, it's super touching, but having that moment with himjust a brief little contact with himknowing where I'm about to turn around and what's about to happen. Uh, that's the high of highs," he said.

Despite all odds, Cody finished his story and defeated The Tribal Chief to become the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion at WrestleMania 40. The 38-year-old has thus far defended his title against AJ Styles (twice) and Logan Paul at premium live events.
