Darby Allin is undoubtedly one of the biggest stars in AEW right now. However, his recent actions have prompted a WWE veteran to criticize him quite harshly.
The 31-year-old star is known for his daring approach to wrestling, often engaging in risky spots on shows. Judging by how he seemingly pulls off death-defying stunts, hardly anything seems too far for Darby. However, Vince Russo believes that the star may be pushing himself a little too far at times, especially considering his plans to climb Mt. Everest.
On Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Outlaws, the WWE veteran stated:
"I have said this all along with Darby Allin. From what I think, the guy's jumping off of bridges, the guy's getting hit by cars, the guy is jumping on glass tables. Okay bro till what? Eventually, you die? Then what, Darby? You can't dial it back. You can't dial it back when you are dead, bro. It's too late." [3:14 onwards]

The WWE veteran also criticized other AEW stars
According to Vince Russo, the general tendency of the AEW roster to take insane risks in some spots shows their sadomasochism.
Speaking on the same episode of Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Outlaws podcast, the WWE veteran stated:
"These guys, they are doing stuff that they do on the indie scenes, GCW, whatever it is. Bro, it's all sadomasochism. That's what it is. They have a fetish for sado... When you are sitting there cutting yourself open, cutting your opponent open, trying to figure out every which way to bleed, you have an issue there. That's not normal behavior. There is definitely an issue there," Russo said. [2:44 onward]
For now, what Darby Allin plans to do next remains to be seen.
