WWE veteran comments on Mercedes Moné being put through a table on AEW Dynamite

On last week's episode of AEW Dynamite, Mercedes Moné was put through a table by Willow Nightingale. Bully Ray (aka Bubba Ray Dudley) has shared his thoughts on the segment.

A contract signing took place between The CEO and Willow Nightingale on the May 15 edition of Dynamite. The two stars confronted each other, and the segment ended with the TBS Champion putting Moné through a table, courtesy of a Doctor Bomb.

On the latest edition of the Busted Open podcast, Bully Ray reviewed the Moné-Nightingale segment from Dynamite. He praised the TBS Champion's work on the microphone and called her promo believable.

"Willow does another great job with her promo. I said last week that Willow really caught my attention with her backstage promo, [and] she capitalized again tonight with her live mic work. I could tell she was memorizing her lines, but there was enough heart and soul in the promo to make me believe."

The Hall of Famer further commended how Moné sold the powerbomb.

"A great segment. Zero nitpicking. Both women [get] double thumbs up, great table bump, great powerbomb, great selling by [Moné]. Mercedes didn't move a muscle. The position that she landed in is the position she stayed in, and I love that. It's not easy to get powerbombed in a mini-skirt and just stay there. She did. Bravo." [H/T: WrestlingInc]

Bully Ray says Mercedes Moné is a heel

On the same edition of the Busted Open podcast, Bully Ray spoke about Mercedes Moné's on-screen character. After witnessing the contract signing segment, Ray was sure that the former Sasha Banks had established herself as a heel in AEW.

Mercedes Moné is set to meet Willow Nightingale inside the ring on Sunday. At Double or Nothing, she will challenge the reigning TBS Champion for her gold.
